All right, now that I'm back, I can post the last four days.
Thursday was an interesting day. We went straight to the elementary school with the theater, but Max didn't know that. Apparently he's late every day (kinda like me and early mornings), so when we got to school exactly at 8:00, we ended up being late to practice.
We practiced the whole day. I played my act with Nick for the third time on the stage, but it sounded OK. We went back to school for lunch and picked up some more sound equipment- a pair of wireless mics, two loudspeakers, and a powered mixer to run monitors. It was exactly what I was looking for, which was really great.
Then came the powerpoint. This was really a stressful experience. I had all kinds of problems to fix and Max didn't actually have the new powerpoint like he told me. We ended up downloading a trial and editing all the mistakes I made. I did, however, forget everything and had to run back home to get my script and T-Shirt.
The performance went REALLY well. All the acts were really strong and we didn't have any major problems. There was one issue with a mic, but that wasn't my fault. I think Martha My Dear sounded really good for the time we put in to it. It also contained one of my better hacks: we only had one mic stand, so I used some picture wire I found on the floor to tie a mic to a coat rack.
Everybody was totally pumped after the performance, but it ended around 11:00, so we just went home and went to sleep.
I don't have any pictures, but there are some on GAPP 2008.

I am now the master of this thread.
Robert, Glad the show went so well. Good thing you are so Robertish or it seems like they would have had lots of technical difficulties. I wonder if you could add a spellcheck function to this blog. Mom
